My journey in sound has taken a few unexpected turns—from spinning records in dusty bars to composing music for cinematic fantasy worlds. It all started with DJing and producing beats, which led me to pursue a diploma in Music Production and Audio Engineering at SAE Institute in North Vancouver. I spent years working live events, handling sound and production management at Vancouver’s legendary Waldorf Hotel, and doing stage work at Shambhala Music Festival—where I also had the chance to perform a set of my own original tracks. Eventually, I stepped into post-production for picture and everything clicked. At QuestCoast Studios, I honed my skills in dialogue editing, sound design, music composition, and location recording. That’s where I discovered what I love most: using sound to support story, shape emotion, and bring visual worlds to life.
